Unknown Tips for effective use of Gmail

You know gmail is the most used email platform. Here are some top tips for using Gmail effectively:

Use labels: Labels help you categorize your emails and find them easily. You can create labels for different types of emails, such as work, personal, bills, or newsletters. You can also apply multiple labels to an email to make it easier to find later.

Utilize filters: Filters allow you to automatically sort and organize your incoming emails based on certain criteria, such as the sender, subject, or keywords in the email. This can help you prioritize important emails and keep your inbox organized.

Enable keyboard shortcuts: Gmail has a number of keyboard shortcuts that can help you save time and navigate your inbox more quickly. To enable them, go to Settings > General > Keyboard shortcuts.

Use the snooze feature: If you receive an email that you don't have time to deal with at the moment, you can use the snooze feature to have it reappear in your inbox at a later time or date. To use this feature, click on the snooze icon (represented by a clock) next to the email.

Archive or delete emails: Instead of keeping all your emails in your inbox, you can archive or delete them to keep your inbox clutter-free. You can also use the search function to find archived emails when you need them.

Use the "Undo Send" feature: Gmail has a feature that allows you to undo sending an email within a few seconds after you've clicked "Send". To enable this feature, go to Settings > General > Undo Send and select the time limit you prefer.

Set up canned responses: If you frequently send similar emails, you can create canned responses to save time. To set up canned responses, go to Settings > Advanced > Templates.

Use the Google Drive integration: You can easily attach files from your Google Drive to your emails by clicking on the Google Drive icon when composing an email. This can save you time and prevent the need to upload files separately.

Enable two-factor authentication: To keep your Gmail account secure, it's a good idea to enable two-factor authentication. This requires you to enter a verification code in addition to your password when logging in from a new device. To enable two-factor authentication, go to Settings > Security > 2-Step Verification.

Use the mobile app: The Gmail mobile app can help you stay on top of your emails while you're on the go. You can also use features such as swipe gestures to quickly archive or delete emails, and push notifications to stay up-to-date on new emails.
